SVS College of Engineering has an independent Training and Placement Cell which plays a key role in catering the manpower needs of the engineering industries in India. This cell is supported by a full time Placement Officer who concentrates Training and Development, Corporate Relations and Placements, Career Guidance and Study Abroad Counseling, Guest Lecturers from Corporate and Academicians, Industrial visits, Industry tie-ups, corporate training etc., and the office is also assisted by student initiatives from each engineering department for placement activities. With a motto of getting our first batch to get 100% placements many on and off campus drive is done for the betterment of the student community. By this our institution can create a platform with those companies which can help us to maintain a good relationship with them which will help our students to get benefited at the time of completion of their course.

The hallmark of this cell is that it conducts SVS Mega Job Fair every year as part of Corporate Social Responsibility. SVS Job Fair 2 K 11 attracted 82 companies, 25000 students all over Tamilnadu by issuing 3000+ offers.
